VPN Server Mode: OPenVPN and Wireguard both work with GL.iNET Routers. Users can use other VPN services also on GL.iNET Routers. Moreover, Users can configure Router as VPN Server, to access Router and Internet from Offline remote location. New GL.iNET Router models are equipped with Policy Routing feature, to allow certain traffic or Domains to pass through Network devices.
Repeater Mode: Users can switch GL.iNET Wireless Router to Repeater mode easily by logging to GL.iNET Router dashboard page using web address http://192.168.8.1, Under Network Settings, Select operation mode as Repeater, Scan for Home Host Router Network name, Enter Wireless Password of host Router and click apply. GL.iNET Router will now work as a Repeater.

Unbox and Connect
Start by unboxing your router and connecting it to your modem using the provided Ethernet cable.
Access the Admin Panel
Open a web browser and enter 192.168.8.1 to access the router’s admin panel for configuration.
Configure Network Settings
Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your Wi-Fi network, including SSID and password settings.

GL.iNet Wireless Router setup can be done easily via web browser method.
The GL.iNet router can be configured as Repeater, USB Tethering Device, SIM Router or as a normal wireless router.
- Connect power adapter to GL.iNet Router.
- Connect an ethernet cable from the WAN Internet slot of GL.iNet Router to the LAN slot on Modem.
- Reboot Internet Provider Modem and GL.iNet Router, wait for the lights to be stable blue or white.
- Connect your PC with GL.iNet Router Network, Default Wireless Name and Password are mentioned on GL.iNet label or box itself.
- Open any preferred web browser and type GL.iNet router default IP address http://192.168.8.1 in the address bar of the browser.
- Default login screen will appear, use default admin password for GL.iNet router as goodlife, all characters in lower case.
- The Router Dashboard screen will appear, Select Language and then click on the next option.
- Choose Internet Connection Type Method, Ethernet Cable Connection, Repeater Mode, USB Tethering or SIM Card Cellular Method.
- In the case of the Repeater Mode Setup process, select scan option, GL.iNET Router will scan for nearby access points, select your host router network name and enter network wireless password.
- For Ethernet connection set up, GL.iNET router will automatically detect Internet connection.
- Create Wireless Network name and Network Key Password for GL.iNET Router for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Network Bands and Click Next.
- GL.iNET will check for Firmware update if any, click on update firmware option in case there is any pending firmware update on Router.
- The router will reboot to apply new firmware update changes.
- Users can connect to new WiFi Network Name, to access GL.iNET Router web interface page, use IP address http://192.168.8.1

GL.iNet BE-9300 Set up Steps
GL.iNet BE-9300 Router can be configured via web browser method or via GL.iNet App itself.
- Connect Power cable with Adapter and Router. Wait for the lights to turn Solid on Router.
- Connect your device wirelessly with GL.iNet Router, Wireless SSID and wifi password can be found on the Wireless configuration card itself. Alternatively, users can connect Ethernet cable from GL.iNet Router LAN slot to PC/Laptop.
- Open a web browser and type http://192.168.8.1 in the address bar of your browser. GL.iNet admin panel web interface screen will appear, select language as English.
- Click on Next Tab, Connection Type screen will appear, Select DHCP,Static,PPPoE as per your Internet provider if you are using Ethernet connection option.
- Alternatively, Users can configure GL.iNET BE-9300 Router as a Wireless Repeater or USB Tethering option.
- Wireless Settings screen will appear after selecting Internet connection type, create new wireless name and Network password.
- Create an Admin Router password, Admin password will be used in future to access GL.iNET BE-9300 Router settings.
- After initial setup, Check if there is any pending firmware update on Router, under Advanced, Administration Tab.

Common Issues and Solutions
Why 192.168.8.1 is not working?
There can be multiple reasons, users are not able to login to GL.iNet Router login page using default IP address.
- The device is not connected to the GL.iNET router network. Make sure the device is connected with Router Network wired or wirelessly.
- The admin web login address has been changed from within the settings,in such cases, Reset Router to factory settings and then again try the IP address of GL.iNet Router.
- Browser keeps old cache files or cookies, try a different browser or try updating the browser under settings.
- Ethernet cable is connected to the WAN Internet port instead of the LAN Ethernet port when using a wired connection.
- Sometimes, there is an IP conflict error, two devices using the same IP address, in such cases try rebooting the router and then try 192.168.8.1 to access GL.iNet Router settings page.

- Power on Router: Connect USB Power Cable to GL-MT3000 Router.
- Connect Device: Connect your Smartphone or Laptop/PC with GL_MT3000 Network Name. GL-MT3000 Router will broadcast two network names.
- Wireless Setup: Users can check for default wireless name from Wi-Fi configuration card or Router label. In case default wireless password is not mentioned, use password as goodlife.

- Configure Wireless Network: Change default Wi-Fi Network name and wireless password. Make sure the security protocol is WPA-2 or WPA-2/WPA-3 Mixed for high security.
- Admin Password Setup: Create a new admin password, default admin password for GL-MT3000 Beryl Travel Router is goodlife.
- Users can activate Adguard and VPN features using toggle switch. Login to GL.iNET Router dashboard page using web address http://192.168.8.1, navigate to administration option, to activate Toggle features of Router.
GL-MT3000 Beryl AX Router is highly recommended for users who travel to Hotels, Cafe, RV Etc. so that they can have their own private network. Normally, Hotels have limitations over the number of wireless clients that can connect to the Network, with Beryl AX travel Router users can create their own private network and connect devices with the GL-MT3000 Beryl Router Network. In case users are unable to connect to the network, or are relocating devices to different locations, press and hold reset for three seconds, or hold reset button down for 10 seconds to reset and reconfigure GL-MT3000 Beryl AX Router.
